4 yr sevice awards both different

I got a question about those 2 awards both are from my own collection but

The left one is magnetic the right is not
The left is wide 30,2 cm and 2,6 cm thick
the right is 30,2 cm wide and 2,9 cm thick

Is this normal or not the left bought by detlev so that must be good is the right good or not

Hi both awards are nice originals , these awards came in magnetic and non magnetic form with various degrees of thickness. The thicker version is more than likely the earlier type. All the best
