I think is a slim type with ring is unmarked. Looks like a good one.

          NSDAP 25 Year Cross

          100% original text-book example

Note the "trade-mark" flaw on the top of the eagle's left wing as you look at it from the front.

I don't dispute the originality of this cross, but I have one question.

Why is there a "guiding circle" positioned on the reverse, when the suspension ring is attached to the top of the cross?

              cheers

                  Hi Chris,

This is the circle I'm referring to. Perhaps of no significance, but it happens to be positioned dead centre on the cross, possibly indicating a guiding circle for attaching the ring.

This is a political award and most awardees did not serve as active military personnel, thus excluding them from the existing military decorations. The status of an individual was reflected by the awards worn and if awarded the 25 year cross, I would expect both the other grades as well to be present on the bar. I haven't seen the reverse, but considering the poor attachment to the ribbon (the ring is normally hidden by the ribbon), I think it's possible it has been put together post-war. Just my two bits

                  cheers
                  Peter

I would be concerned about the bar. It should display the 3 awards.

I also believe that everything belong to 3 to the order braces. But it is for me about the genuineness of Gold "25 cross", not whether the braces are properly put
                        regards Chris
