DSB bevo embroidered badge

I have recently picked up a few german badges, among them is a bevo embroidered DSB badge, gold on green - obviously cut from off something. Would anyone be able to help me idenfify this badge, would it be WWII or post war? I cannot find any references to embroidered sports badges.

Hi,

it is the German sports badge, awarded 1952 until 2006, some million awards.

The basic colour should be black; it could be, that the shown piece is washed out and tinted greenish?

Thanks for the info, the badge is gold bevo type embroidered on dark green, wasn't sure if pre or post 1945.
