I just happened upon this interesting Anschluss Medal article, while searching for something else on the Military Trader website. Since I collect these medals and found the article informative, I thought other collectors of the medal might enjoy reading it, as well. The article also provides some interesting socio-political information on the history of the event which the medal commemorates.
