SS 8 Year Service Medal

Could I please get some help with this 8 year service medal. I have searched the forum and have learned that there are two makers of this medal. It is for sure not a Deshler, however I could not find any pictures of a P&L 8 year. Personally, I have my concers. I do not think the stippling is defined enough and the jump ring is too short. I would appreciate it if you all would take a look and let me know what you think.

That is indeed a bad one, with some scuffs added to try and age it (or something)
