    Interesting Find From Poland

    hello mates
    this is a interesting thing
    its found in the border of poland when we were grounddigging there
    its a heavy solid ring
    with 2 swastikas on each side one
    and a oakleaf or something in the midle wich is nicely put on top of the ring so its done by a pro

    weird thing is that the leaf shows gold traces if you look at the large verion of the photo you can see gold spots

    is this maybe a private purchase from a oaks winner?

        Nice piece but I doubt it's to an oakleaves winner. Look at how prolific the oakleaf is on German awards and documents, whether combat or not.

          a few keywords here

          "border of Poland" "ground-digging"

          and the piece itself yells out Fantasy island.

          Most likely placed there so other people will come and ground-dig as well.
          Second oldest tourist trick in the book.

          i.e. "He found something so will I when I go over".

          There are a number of ring/badage/pin like this cropping up lately check some of the other threads.

          BTW I think I saw this exact ring is for sale on Ebay for 10$.

            pretty weird tourist atraction dude! we found bones, 2 dogtags, a waterbottle, some clothpieces and stickgrenades there
            so i dont believe
            its fantasy probably a private bought ring

              Yes, if you found all that, it must be very weird that somebody knew a place with dogtags, clothpieces, etc and place it there.
              Ill stick with the idea its a rare item or a private purchase
