Looks like a fine example of the 12 Year with ribbon.

I'm not sure about the case. In the picture it looks like the hinge is the full with of the case, something I've not seen on original cases. The grain does look pronounced but I'm wondering its just the way the picture is lit as side lighting will make any grain look deeper due to shadowing effects. So, not convinced from a picture that its real but certainly very good contruction.

Many thanks for the replies.

@ Steve, I've only ever seen cases like Stan's and that's the only type I'd feel comfortable with, until it is firmly established otherwise.

Also, I have my concerns about the style of catch and will have to chat with Marcus about this. On the subject of the catch, it is very weak and I could pull it off with very little pressure which strikes me as not the quality we would expect of the period.
