    Ribbonbar

    Hello all ,

Can somebody tell me more about this ribbonbar ?

    Thanks in advance,

Prussian Red Cross Medal (all by itself = 3rd Class), Non-combatant WWI Hindenburg Cross (= recipient was in the armed forces, but not in combat), any Bulgarian award on the generic "Bravery" ribbon (probably one of the Merit Medals or an Order on this as a war merit ribbon), the Austrian 1914+ Red Cross awards, from bronze medal up to "Decoration 2nd Class."

Probably a circa 1935 bar, from a rear area medical type. Quite unusual that such a person would have awards from THREE countries, so probably a quite deserving person at a major Balkans hospital or involved in medical transportation of wounded soldiers.

That's the kind of ribbon bar I like !!!!!!!!

Very understated . . . with a lot of dignity
