Tank destruction strip

Hi to all,

A fiend of mine asked me about this badge and I think it´s a repro, but as I´ve never had one in hand to compare I can´t give him a final answer so I hope you can help me with it.
He said measurement of the tank are correct for an original and that the strip has been stiched for a very long time.

at first sight I though it was a 57 mod. because the tank almost touch the black strips...

Tank Destruct Strip

This could be one of the Austrian copies that came out in the 70s.Without the dimensions one way to tell its a austrian copy is the tank is non magnetic.Jim

I will give it up. As you mentioned, the tank touched the black strips. To me it looks oversized. Would you like to post its dimension here?

I noticed.....

......that the angle of the weave on the black stripes is reversed as compared to the badges posted by Frank and Angel.

Is this another identifier of a reproduction?
