    Roll of unknown ribbon

    I have a few things from my great-grandfather that I cannot identify. This is a long roll of ribbon - I would suppose it is a veteran award. In all of his civilian photos after the First war he never has a button hole ribbon or stickpin although he owned such items. Anyway, what award is this for?
