"I assume from the eBay fig leaves this is for sale someplace and hasn't come home to live with you yet, Brian?
Good scans without the squiggles would be nice. "
This bar is not at home with me but is in Germany waiting for my payment to arrive. The "squiggles" are on there because it was posted on a German auction site. Although it will be a few weeks, I will post better images when it arrives.
I agree with George. These things definately seem redundant, but very interesting nonetheless.
Quatsch nicer! Yours is also amazing! And as long as nobody else can post something like this we are the only 2 who have a silver device!
Somebody else with nice 3rd reich mini devices? Thats really a interesting thread!
Welp, these are '57 so maybe don't really count, but from this pic, what do you think his wartime ribbon bar would've atually looked like??
He had the EK II, 4 & 12 yr long service, Tapferkeitsorden IV. Klasse 1. Stufe, Winterschlacht, Osterreichs, Sudetenland, ....I know the Long Service and Bulgarian pilot's badge are on the bottom ribbon, what would you say the other three are? I guess that the white cross is the Tapferkeits??
And of these Bulgarian awards, which would be on his wartime ribbon bar??
Which RKT pilot did this belong to - and a question to all of you, this would be the first Bw ribbon bar I have seen with the Anschluss and Sudenten medal on it. Were these two medals reauthorized for use in 1957?
