Ribbons though the second button hole.

    Hello all

Which ribbons were allowed to be worn though the second buttonhole of the uniform? Was there an official decree that stated this? As I understand it the awards had to be classed as “War Decorations”.
Here at the ones I have come up with so far:

Iron Cross 1914/39 with or without spange bar,
    Honor roll clasp
    Russian Front Medal
    War Merit Cross Second Class
    Life Saving Award
    Prussian Hohenzollern Knights Cross

here is TENO "General" Dr. Friedrich Witte of Hamburg. I never would have identified him ahd I not seen this exact man at "The Relic Hunter". I bought this card last year thinking it was of a highly decorated Bahn Inspektor!Note how he wears the Anschluss award.
