A Question for the Grand Poobah of Ribbon Bars.....

Oh one who is wise in the ways of science and ribbon bars.... what are the chances that this SS 8-Year device is real?? The bar looks legit, it's a plastic backing bar (have not seen one of these done as a fake). My thoughts are the bar is legit. The question is, is the device itself real?? And yes, it's on the Wallstreet of Collecting website!

      Awww, the HOOK's broken off!!!

That's the longest "plastic" one I've seen so far.

Quite a boring combination, but as you say, all legit looking.

Hard to say on the device itself from the CRAPPY scan... would have to be compared "live" with Peter von Lukacs's SS 8 which appears as a close-up in the Ribbon Bar Article devices galleries.

that has to be the freshest 60 year old ribbon bar I have ever seen. It must have been vacuum sealed ..... if real.

I agree with Mark - doesnt it too far too minty? I also dont like how the ribbons are not tightly drawn on the brackets.
