Here is a nice three place ribbon bar with maker's tag "Edschert Nürnberg". It seems to have the German Italian award added to it. As you may be able to notice, the backing is of two different types of material and the catch is a string loop so that I cannot open the pin.

You seem to have a pretty extensive collection on ribbon bars, this one looks like the Italo/German award was added at a later time ( as the ribbon is wider then the others + it is not folded in the same way ) , Very nice one indeed.

Yes, interesting for several reasons--
that is the ONLY WW-TWO ribbon bar I've seen yet with an outfitter's label on back!!!
This one was obviously field improvized by the wearer: if only this one could "talk"!Comment
