I never thought I would post a common item like this for rewiew, but when I first saw it, I figured it had to be a fake. With the magnifier I started looking for any possible signs of casting, which were not to be found. This is as minty as it gets and I find it hard to believe that there are any better out there. Of course I stand to be corrected, should you prove me wrong

Most of us pass these little guys by because they normaly look like crap. Every now and then one surfaces like yours that show their true beauty. It is a damn fine looking medal when found in it's issued state. Congratulations!

Not bad Peter at all, I've a few on a level par, are you sure though this hasn't been repainted at all ? It's not the excellent condition it's in but the finish and texture of the silver that makes me a little suspect perhaps ??
