    Hello Alex,

Here is a DRL Sport Badge by Ernst Müller. Unfortunately it is denazified. I bought this one only because of the maker, which I think is somewhat scarce to find on this badge. The majority, by far, being Wernstein's.
    Best regards! Tom

It seems that the tool and die man made a mistake when setting the 'Z' in Pforzheim as he got it backwards. On the Infantry Assault Badges by Müller, I think both the 'S' in Ernst, and the 'Z' in Pforzheim were backwards. Or maybe it was just the 'S' that was backwards and the 'Z' was correct. I can't remember for sure.

Interesting, because i had a DRL of Müller, but there is the S and the Z wrong. And this weekend i bought a DRL Sport´s Badge Silver of Ernst L. Müller there is only the z wrong as at your piece but the material is Zinc and not Tombak as my bronze DRL badge i had and yours. I never seen a DRL Müller in Zinc before so currently looking for more of this type.

                Hello Alex,

The only DRL Sport Badge in zinc that I own is this one by Wernstein. Is it fair to say that a DRL Sport Badge in zinc by any maker is scarce, or are the zinc Wernstein's common? The reason I ask is because I do not recall seeing many zinc DRL Sport Badges in the years I've been collecting. I have always believed that most of these Sport Badges were made in the pre-WWII and early war years. I think by the time manufacturers started using zinc, these badges were only being produced on a limited basis.
                Best regards! Tom

Here is the Silver DRL Zinc of Müller. As you can see only the Z is wrong as at your Tombak one. So there are up to now 3 variants of DRL Müller Badges.

                    Tombak S and Z wrong
                    Tombak Z wrong
                    Zinc Z wrong

But i can´t find any other Zinc Müller DRL badge. So i asked if somebody here has one but it seems that nobody has one.

Here is a pic of my DRL by Muller. I bought it off the Estand last year.

I am pretty sure it is zinc, but I could be wrong.
