Ost Medal Ribbon Ques

Does anyone know what the std width is for the Eastern Front medal?

I have a ref book that indicates approx. 32 mm, yet all Ost medal ribbons in my collection vary from approx. 28 to 25 mm.

Based on pics of these awarded, the ribbons look just marginally narrower than the medal itself i.e. closer to the 32 mm width.

I know that there are plenty of Ost medals floating around but original ribbons for these seem to be scarcer - as per the article on this award on our site.

i think that the standard 30mm ribbon, is what is found on most ostfront medals, 25mm for mounting on medal bars and then a wider ribbon for the austrian style!!

i have a mm 7 with a 32mm ribbon and a mm 3 with a 28mm ribbon
