Uncle Kurt...Thank you for the ID on Walter Gasteyer. These were definitely early photos of him as he later became an officer and Kp.-Führer of 4./Korps-Fallsch.Pi.Bt in 1943 and then in 1944 Hauptmann and commander of the Fallschirm-Pionier-Bataillon 2
