Information about Hans Eickriede

I am looking for more information about Hans Eickriede.
I found information about him in Klaus Peters "Fallschirm-Jäger Rgt.3" Vol.2 Bender 1995 and Eric Queen "Red shines the Sun: Pictorial History of the Fallschirm-Infanterie" Bender 2002. He was member FIB, wounded 5 times - Crete 1941, Russia 1941, France 1944. He received DKG (August 1943), Ehrenschale der Luftwaffe (1943). Could someone help me with more information about him?

He was not in FIB ... He joined the Luftwaffe in September 1939 ...

He got the DKG in Jan 1945 not 1943 ...

I found these 3 documents of him ... As far as I know they are published as you told ...

Does someone have a picture of him ?

I have found information about him in Eric Queen's book. On page 128 there is a photo of his group and according to the caption below it he was one of the soldiers in this group. The photo was taken in the summer of 1938. Additionaly we can see his VWA Gold document with information "...document to former Army paratrooper Hans Eickriede" on pages 230, . That is why I am surprise that you say "He was not in FIB ... He joined the Luftwaffe in September 1939 ...".

The book by Klaus Peters "Fallschirm-Jäger Rgt.3" Vol.2 Bender 1995 (page 651) informs that he received his DKiG in Aug.1943.
