    Breast eagles vs chest eagles...

    These guys tore up the uniform regs when they applied their breast eagles...

    Same guy in all three photographs (as far as I can tell).

    Wonder why he did it? A non-conformist? A 'Forrest Gump'?

    Proof, again, that regulations are as much honored in the breach as in the observance.

        These men are not in Italy.
        tropical jacket is a prey of Crete.
        The jacket is not commonwealth jacket
        English or New Zealand.
        The photos have been taken for me in southern Germany
        Summer 1941

          Agree with Uncle Kurt,most probably commonwealth jackets used by the german paratroopers after Creta,I have many photos of that tunics worn by paratroopers

                  Ah ah ah, very funny pics! Think about a similar tunic surfacing the collector's market... Many would say it's an old and very bad repro. Others would unsew the eagle to restitch it in the correct way
