    FJ with US paratrooper boots

    Hello everyone,
    do you know any other photos where you can see a FJ with US jump boots?

    a bit danger to get captured in enemy boots....by the way nice shot i see this one for first time

      Already saw this one in the militaria magazine in France, it is announced as fallchirmjäger from the 15th regiment near La Haye du Puits in 44.

          How are you certain they are U.S. paratrooper boot? Many countries, many boots.

              Yes 100% sure. The FJR15 was just in front line near the FJR6. Many FJs of 15th Regiment were in contact with member of FJR6 who captured US paratrooper stuffs like jump boots and helmet net. In the same photos series we can see those kind of net on standard and M38 helmets.

                    The photos are in private collection in Normandy. But you could find all in the Militaria Magazine #297.

                        Ordinary U.S. double-buckel boots also have same toecaps.

                          On the photo it's clearly not a pair of buckle boots, who also exit without toecap.

                            You can see the boots on the FJ are tall and fully laced.

                            I used to enjoy the Militaria magazine when it was available in the US, and in English.
