FJ Helmet on EBAY - In US... Opinion's ?

Here's a FJ Shell up for sale on Ebay. Opinions of shell

Seller says it has gotten the thumbs up from local collectors ?
I asked who they were. Decal and liner are Crap, but unsure of shell.
At bottom of description, seller describes number at the rear of shell,,,
But he does not guarantee it nor give an inspection period.
I also noted seam in rolled under rim ..Hmmmm
Great military show in Timonium, MD this weekend, 2 nice FJ helmets with
asking price of $3,200 and $4,000. Don't know if they sold.

It is getting tougher to authenticate a shell from photos alone.

I don't think a handons inspection would yield a positive view on this shell. It seems to lack some of the rim detail. I am voting on a from what I see in the photos.

Thanks Willi, This seller had a score of 99.8% with 1465 transactions..

Also the stamping of CKL68, I did not think repro's with these numbers were common. You are right, I saw several repro's last weekend at the militery show. They looked really good, but I think the "At The Front" ones were the best. Soon you will only be able to buy a real FJ from a collector you have known for a long time.
