Santa delivered three days early and blew me away. I got this from an Italian member here and a dream of mine, a M38 combat helmet with Italian provenance, came true.
It has been posted here before but the pictures do it no justice at all. No offence Marco. It mustard yellow paint is typical Afrika, that with the camo overspray is just typical of the path this helmet would have followed until it was found in Northern Italy. That together the fact that it is named with the blood damage in the front makes it an remarkable piece of history. For me in any case. J
