    FJR6 at Angoville du Plain

I am searching for FJR6 accounts about the fighting for Angoville du Plain on the 6th and 7th of June 1944. I am particularly interested in any mention of the 501st PIR aid station which was set up in the church.

A book and documentary from the 501st PIR perspective have been made about this.

Apart from the one suggested by Will, the following one is a good research about the aid station and fighting around Angoville au Plain. It focuses on the two 506th PIR medics parachuted on D Day: Robert Wright and Kenneth Moore, but also taken into account FJ's actions.

Óscar, looks like a good book. Thanks. I have been to that village twice and remember the blood stained less in the church.

Robert Wright and Kenneth Moore were Medics from the 501st PIR. They are the ones who set up the Aid Station in the Angoville Church.

Besides the above book, there was also a documentary made.

Thanks Willi, I already have this book. I was hoping something else has been published which I didn't know about.
