    Soldbuch Member of Fallsch.Jg.Rgt. 20

    Gents,

i want to share you a Luftwaffe Soldbuch from Jäger Erwin von Wnuck, born 1.2.1927, died 4.4.1945 ...

Erwin joint early the HJ (sep. docs i have) and got as HJ-member at 7.8.1943 the KVK (Kriegsverdienstkreuz) 2nd class with swords and this decoration would also wrote down in his later Soldbuch (s. pic) and the award (feldspange KVK) is also to see on his chest at the personal picture in the Soldbuch
    - 7.12.1944 he joint the Luftwaffe and was first a „Flieger(schüler)“ (Pilot) at the Flg. Ers. Btl. V
    - 30.1.1945 he changed rank to „Fallsch Jäger“ to the 10./Fallsch. Jg Ausb. Rgt 4 and he makes after a short basic training as FJ
    - 1.4.1945 he changed tot h 1./Fallsch. Jg. Rgt. 20 what was his following unit
    - 4.4.1945 Erwin died in age of 18 years in Lingen/Ems, Germany, by fightings against british troops and was buried in Lingen/Ems, Kameradengrab 11, Grab 6

Last picture shows my little FJ grouping with this Soldbuch....Helmet, Cap and Picture are no connections to FJ E.v.W.

    Regards, Andy

It's sad to see that he was barely 18 when he died.
Regarding the paybook itself, I think that the KVK II entry is very interesting

Interesting pay book. Tragic, a very short "career" and cut down so close to the end of hostilities. Thanks for showing it.

Yes, especially since he was 16 year old when he was awarded the KVKII.

                  Ok, here the documents:
                  - 1 dienstkarte HJ (membershipcard HJ) - without picture of e.v.m. - with the mark of the awarding KVK II (see my yellow marks)
                  - this dienstkarte was made at 17.7.1944, i think it is the 2nd issue of this card, maybe the first went lost.
                  - 2nd document is the "führerausweis HJ" (leadershipcard HJ) shows his way with the first rank on 20.4.1942 as "rottenführer", last rank was on 24.6.1943 as "hauptscharführer"
                  - 2 pictures: 1 e.v.m. with full HJ-uniform, 1 little picture of e.v.m. as very young boy...an earlier picture from a card (remains of stamp)...but does not fit to the both documents i have (stamps remains dont match..)
                  thats all i have ;-)
                  Regards, Andy

I can only imagine how proud could be a young HJ boy for earning a decoration at 16!
