now I see why it is being called bad and agree. The darker inner core threads were a bit washed out in the image posted of the reverse side and I did not pick that up.
You are absolutely correct Tom, none of my ones have inner core threads on the reverse side that are coloured.
I am very weary of reverse sides that show coloured threads. I am lead to believe that it did happened on some original cloth aircrew badges but I have never seen one that I was entirely relaxed with,
