    Hi

    Were these type of wendehose ever used by FJ as sonderkleidung?

      The Fallschirmjäger used this kind of trousers, first issued in autumn 1942, but they were not considered Sonderbekleidung. The paratroopers' specialist clothing consisted of those pieces of garment that the paras needed for jumping (i.e. high paratrooper gloves, elastic bindings, knee, elbow and shoulder pads) and for jump training at the airborne schools (dragging suit and heel protectors for the jump boots). Apparently there was also a face mask, introduced sometimes in 1943, but currently there are no more details available.

      Your padded winter trousers seem to be standard Wehrmacht issue.
