        Cheers Jan. Very interesting research. I didn't realise there could be such certainty. Mine has unpainted ventilated bolts at side and steel bolts at rear, and is stamped Muller on the leather liner.

          Sounds to be a great helmet eubank, a smaller % were made in this configuration

          You can just buy Brian Ice´s super book "German helmet lot numbers 1935-1945 ongoing research" and you will
          be able to do the same calculations. The book is somewhat cheap compared to the wealth of info that are present in it,
          and there´s a new updated version on the marked which I personally just ordered as the first book is SUPER.

              My friend Christophe (BRAZZA) found an Unteroffizier with this name KIA in June 1944 in Normandy and was buried at LA CAMBE Cemetery but we don't know if it was a fj

                  Love the helmet and like the period style of initialing name in liner.
