Like the buckles, but the strap, and especially the leather loop, gives pause. Can you show a detail of the back of the sliding buckle?

Thank you for your first opinion. The canvas strap is made of a mix of gray rayon and coton, typical late war product, IMO. Here some detail of the sliding buckle.
