My Para Helmet, I finally bite the bullet…

Thank you all for your positive comments, very much appreciated.
My opinion is that this helmet should be displayed with its chin straps hanging out. I did some research on the web but I couldn't find a stand I really liked, so in the end I decided to make my own stand.

I am very pleased with the result. My first intention was to place a description of the helmet in front of the stand but after giving it some thought I think the dog tag looks better.

The dog tag is an original Fallschirmjäger dog tag of the 11 Kompanie /Fallschirmjäger Regiment. 5 but does not belong to this helmet.

Great helmet and nice stand, always nice when you get something you have been after for a long time then you cement it with a personal home made stand , can,t get much better thanks for posting .

Congrats Pascal, it's a bullet well bitten : you made a very good choice.
And don't worry for your teeth, this helmet will last longer than them.

Very nice stand too, it tends to remind me the flash of the LW GAB. I would be happy to get a similar one from you one day.

PS : even if the dog tag doesn't belong to the helmet, it's far better that a description label : great display.

That's EXACTLY the same thought I had when first I saw the fabulous stand!

Pascal, perhaps your next stand could begin from a cloud and end with an arrowhead piercing the stand.
