    I found this at a show in Nashville over Easter. It took me now to finally secure the sucker. Luftwaffe tropical A frame.

          Willi, a mutual helmet painting friend of ours found this the day before I got to the show. He had successfully buried it in a pile of display cases for it to lay low until I got there. I didn't have the cash to spring for it at the time, so he cut a deal with the seller for swapping of redone helmets for it. Helmets done, money in hand, A frame in my collection now. Ole Eric can be a pretty good guy on occasion.
