I passed on this APB did i make the right choice?

hi all,

I had the opportunity to buy this last week but passed. Did i make the right choice? I had never seen that pin design so i left it alone. It looked real appealing with a lot of weight to it. The seller wanted 400 euro. Which would have been a steal...here are some photos.
