M38 Camo.

Hi Guys,

I haven't shown this one in a while, and when I did I don't think I asked for an opinion on the camo.

Any ideas where this type of camo paint would have beed used, where in europe?

I have added some flash photos to highlight the camo.

here is no way to know for sure where it was used,nice bucket by the way.

I am no expert on paint so I won't even comment on that, but late war flared rim helmet with early spanner bolts. Also lot #4054, which seems that all late war flared rim helmets like this all seem to be the same batch #----- 4054.
I have one, but not camo.

A real beauty Allan, have seen others painted like yours. The camo on them was also subtle and only showed well in direct sunlight, or as in your photos, under bright electronic flash.
