Headgear worn by German Paras .

I took a look through some of my portraits last night and decided to do a visual thread on the different headgear worn by jump qualified German soldiers.

    I found it quite interesting.

    Regards
    Shaun

Very interesting thread Shaun. You are aware the last pic is not wearing anything? Do have any pics of a FJ with a winter peltmutzen? Jacques

Didn't you notice the smiley face on the last photo Jacques ? Hair could be called headgear .

I havent seen one yet but always looking !

Roger seen one with a Meyer Cap, but wasn't a studio portrait so never bought it.

I would rather call it heargear. BTW any pic of a fj with ordinary helmet m35/40/42?

Good question ! I have never thought of that. I personally have never seen a FJ studio portrait with an M35/40/42 helmet, the hunt is now on !

Stephan that is a great portrait

                Thanks John.

                      Very nice Shaun!

I especially like this one!!! That breast eagle and cap.

The one with the solid tan camo FJ helmet is also a great one.

Very cool pics The eagle on the tropical tunic looks like the type used on Meyer caps.
