Another "devil" 'd helmet

At the KC Militaria show this weekend, Manions had this FJ helmet on display in a glass case. I wasn't able to handle it or gleem any information, but was able to snap a few photos before being shewed away

It is very reminescent of one they offered earlier, discussed in this thread:

Like the other one, it could be an original shell. But, like the other one, not a convincing job of adding the devil.

This helmet must be an extremely rare example of a German paratrooper helmet captured by the British and reissued to a British para, because as everyone except the idiot who painted this helmet knows, the British paras were called "Red Devils," and the German paras were nicknamed the GREEN devils. As John Wayne famously said in "The Sands of Iwo Jima:" "Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid."
