    Juncker Para

    Hello guys,

I would like to show you my first Para badge.
Its not really my collection area, but in my opinion its an original tombak J2.The catch has been repaire during wartime, perhaps with the same catch?
There's a sign on the back Musci 17K or something...

              Hi Janos,

No doubt a nice original Juncker Para. Rivets have been tightened up, along with the repair to the catch that you mention. For me at least, its impossible to tell if the repair was done in the war or postwar. I have seen several repaired badges done in the last 10 years that have plenty of patina on them. Also, Juncker's typically have a brass wire catch, whereas yours looks like silver wire.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
