LW blue side cap

Hi guys
i think it should be quite rare! Its stone mint and as you can see it has the eagle in wool, i think there wasn't any other of badges to sewn on this light blu cotton side cap, or can i be wrong?

Antonio, I have never seen a blue cotton tropical side cap without wool insignia. So that feature is certainly ok. But, I have never seen one with rayon lining (which would indicate 1943 or later manufacture).

Agree with Willi. Odd. There were alot of repro blue cotton caps coming out of France around the 60th anniversary of D Day. Can't remember all the configurations, though.

that was i aslo thought about the liner, but probably as you said a later period The side cap in hands looks all correct, i also got a tunic like your pictured in the book, but years back. I can remember that the blue cotton was exactly this one!

maybe you are correct, also if i never found one in many years, but it doesn't mean anything! Probably the blue cotto was not well done like this, it doesn't make sense to my mind to make a side cap for an anniversay so well done like this one!
