Vacation on crete

Nice pictures, Karl-Heinz! I am going there in July for the third time. I really love that island and not just for the historical thing. What places do you recommend? I have only visited the bridge and the cemetary.

It was my third time too.
1. The very nice private museum you can find well signed in Askifou, on the way to the Imbrus Gorge(Schlucht,Valley..what ever).
2. Then in the middle of Galatas there is a very little museum, you can go there and in the cafe("Plateia") next to this museum you find many photos about 1941-1944.
3. The navy museum in Chania, you can find it very easy in the harbour of Chania.

Have fun and please drink for me an icecold Mythos-Beer.
