Early Cased GWL Para Badge offered by Weitz

Dear all, I saw this nice early cased GWL para badge at Helmut Weitz's website offered for sale. Would like to know your professional opinions. See: https://www.weitze.net/detail/81/Fal..._133281_e.html

I note that GWL badges were usually in cases with cardboard interior bases, especially for later examples. Yet could the case for this badge be an earlier example?

Thanks mdj, so, I think the case has been added subsequently by Weitz!

Thanks Lothringen. I don't think the case and the badge do belong to an original set.

900 Euros for the Badge and 1600 Euros for the case, now that is what I would call a decent mark up on a case

                          Hi guys,

I can only agree with what has been said here, a perfectly original GWL badge, but mated to a different case (likely a Deumer case).

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
