Hopefully looking at an FJ lid soon. What are some of the thing to look for to know its real?

Search for RonR threads! He showed a lot of fantastic original FJ-lids in detail over the years. Perfect reference!!

Elvis, the only advice i can give is get some pics of the lid before buy and show them here!

The only problem is Im probably going to have to drive 2.5 hours away to see the helmet. I planned on taking pics, coming home and posting them, then going back. But man thats a lot of driving. I was hoping to maybe get some chinstrap/liner tips. I am pretty good at seeing a fake aged item. But cant always rely on that.

30+ original helmets in highend photos. There are more details visible as 1000 words could decribe. All what you need to stay safe IMHO.
