    Hi David
You´re right, I´m also aware about the RZ 16 camo canopies, I don´t know but I think about the white line canopies to be original RZ16 canopies and
the dyede lines(Braun/blue/purple?) to be Original spec. RZ20, but as I said
    just my thoughts.

Talking about these dyede or white lines camo canopies,
Does anyone know if there are dyede line camo canopies also made in pure silk, or are they rayon only, and vice versa with the white line canopies made
    in Rayon??

    Best Jan

I have seen white para cord on RZ16 and RZ20 camo chutes and visa versa. Both have been in silk and rayon.

My own rig is a converted RZ16 harness and a RZ20 rayon chute with the cords changing colour along their length!

          Hi David
Thanks for the info, new things to learn every day in this hobby

Mine is also a converted RZ16/RZ20 harness, but white lines french silk stamped RZ16,
really beautyfull.(see Rz20 listing for pictures)

Your lines are changing colors the way up, that sounds really interesting,
do you happen to have some pictures of that we can see?

          Best Jan

            Here's another one.

            Dutch site:

            http://www.tarnmilitaria.nl/shop/details/76/1292

Don't know how complete it is, but fixed price (lower than 3000 Pops); and you can always ask for more info. It at least has the static line and hook.

            KR,
            Frank.

This chute although an RZ20 does not have the correct metal tin.

@ Frank shame about not meeting up on Saturday, another time maybe :-)

                  Willem,

This rig does not have the correct tin for an RZ20.

Correct, tin is for the Lastenfallschirm (Cargo Shute). But still cheaper than the one on eBay (and without tin). And as Willem states, it's complete.

Yes David, very sorry. But as I like Berlin, and my sister lives ther, I am bound to go there on a regular basis. Definately will meet up next time. Had the flight with the Ju52/3m over Berlin last week, definately will do that again!

                    KR,
                    frank.

                      Hi Jan

The white lined RZ16 (RZ20?) canopy of the RZ16 in the collection on the German Airborne School is made of Rayon! I am positive about this since the material is absolutely identical to my brown lined RZ20. We have handled both chutes out in the fresh air at the same time. I am not sure though if the canopy on the RZ16 harness is actually one of an RZ16, the stamp does not say RZ16 but also does not state RZ20. Next time I am up there I will take pictures of both the stamps.

                      cheers
                      Uwe

                        Hi Uwe
Thanks a lot for your respose, now I know that there for sure are white lined
camo made of rayon, so now I only need someone to confirm if there are brown lines made of silk, as I think it was David who said.

About the stamps, as I think you can see on the pictures of mine, it is
marked with a RZ16 in the stamps?

A new discussion could be on which canopies are marked with (RZ1) RZ16 RZ20
(RZ36) and who are not marked??

                        Best regards Jan

                        Super Nice Pictures

This the best that I can do because the chute is now packed.

As you can see (i hope) the lines are different colours and they do change as along their length.
