Coincidence or ... ?

Hi,

as a collector of KIA normandy deathcards, I have already seen
quite some cards but this two took my attention.

The left one is in my collection, the right one I saw on ebay a while ago.



2 FJ's, KIA same day, same age, same 'publisher', same card,...

Coincidence or ...?

This surely could have been possible, or maybe even a mistake made by the publisher.

could be they both died in the battle for st. lo and were from the same town ???

Same as I was thinking.

Deathcards are a minefield but I have a
good feeling about the left one, UV-tested and the right 'texture'.

The faker who created the right one did a good job,
except he was to greedy and took an high-end portrait...

Though there are some originals out there, the one on the right is a fake. I think I still have an original Bauer death card, but would have to check.
