Bought this one a while back but have never shown it. Not quite as fancy as some of the groupings that have been posted lately on the FJ forum but quite a nice Kreta grouping none the less.
This was the info received with the grouping.
The grouping was awarded to "Ogefr. Johannes Ficken" and consists of the following: The Fallschirmjager-Treuekette
document and miniature Fallschirmjager badge, which was awarded to "Frau Lisbeth Ficken" wife of "Johannes" the document is signed by the commander of the 1st Fallsch. Jg Div. "Oberst Karl Lothar Schulz" (Ritterkreuz 24.05.40) on 01.01.45. the miniature FJ badge neckless is made of silver and is engraved on the backside "TREUE UM TREUE"
Also included are Ficken's Kreta Cufftitle award document, awarded on 20. may 1943, and is signed by Fallschirmjager General "Kurt Student" his EK
second class document awarded for action at Kreta, signed by the commander of Fallsch. Pz. Jg. abt, (anti-tank unit) 7th Flieger-Div. Hauptmann Schmitz on 11.June 1941 and his Abzeichen Fur Fallschirmschutzen (Paratrooper's badge) document, awarded on 29. Novenber 1940 and signed by a Generalleutnant who's signature I cannot make out.
