In the past we have shown some examples of army badges that had been repaired to varying degrees, but it is not often you see
( or can tell ) these repaired badges in period photographs.
I thought I would post a close up of this one where you can see prettly clearly that both rivits have been repaired and it looks like there are two domes at the bottom of the wreath indicating that the catch has been replaced as well.
