    Hi guys this didn't get much attention on helmet forum, maybe someone has some an opinion on this for me before i purchase..?

    Hi i was forwarded this website from friend. What are your guys opion on this relic paratroopers helmet? i know these even get faked ....

    this helmet from friend. he acquired the shell from a veteran who also brought back a dagger, which was sold to a dealer and deemed 100% original. This was a shell originally and he added a repro liner. were interested in maybe stripping the orange paint ( not original ?) to get to whats below. what are your opinions on this shell too?

      Sorry , in my opinion both shells are fake .
      Looking for FJR2 combat pics in Russia.

        its quite convincing rust..could you tell me what stands out about this which makes it a fake?

          Just a Note, the relic was also not ground dug- it was found in a barn in Italy. So this may attest to the different rust..?

            The liner and chinstraps on the second helmet are 100% fake
            I'm not sure about the shell or the shell in the first picture but the shape does not look correct, any close up pics from the front?

            Also I notice the top one on Ebay, it was at £51 but ended at 0 bidders - strange.....
