I hope others will chime-in at this point.

yes well done, i agree! Thousands EU are a lot of money, so let's to discuss it, and sorry if my tone could be sound annoyed At the moment i don't have better close up of the decals, but i will provide for it very soon. Second, i cant see anythings wrong on this DD, as everythings, paint liner, ecc..ecc..is right for to have a DD at that period, and more, there is not traces of others ex decals on! So? It nevere passed in my head that it could have both the decal fakes, or i would not put it for sell on estand never!! The whole helmet shows clear wears, in the paint and decals, so i think it is quite tricky to judge from these photos, so i'd opt for better photos before to say "NO WAY". But far from my mind to cheat someone here!!

Based on what I see I have to agree with the others. Bad decals.

I would like to see brighter photos of the decals. As well as the bolts, nuts and inner details. It could very easily have been a no decal helmet which had the liner replaced, etc, etc. Only the aluminum liner band indicates an early war liner, not a pre-war style. More photos is the key.

I know discussions like these can be difficult and sometimes lead to ruffled feathers and personal comments. We are all friends here so let's please remember that. Objective analysis is the goal.

In addition to the bad decals, the paint is not DD paint.

Can anyone explain what the area circled in red is supposed to show.

                            Thanks

One of the differences this decal has compared to an original.

Just compare and you should see at once some wrong features (aside from the odd scratches around the borders).
