I have a bad feeling about this one,

          Hallo,
          The Aermelband is 100% Original
The Nommer 9 is (in German) nachträglich gestickt worden.
warscheinlich war Träger ein Angehörige des Rgt. 9.
Getragen wird Er es aber nicht mehr haben.

Are these factory made, and then the regiment number added by someone else? Why is the number so different from the rest of the sewing?

The original numeral 1 was removed and the nine hand sewn in.

                    Wow

                    Werner,
Thanks for sharing the cuff title. That is a very cool piece. Everything up to the '9' is a common version . The numeral makes it one of a kind. Thanks again for sharing,

                    John

I agree. Very cool piece! Is everyone of the opinion that the "9" was added wartime?

                        Giday everyone,

My first thought was that the cuff title was altered post war for wear at a vertran's reunion.

                        What do others think?

                        Best wishes,

                        Ian

Yes, this cufftitle is original. But, is the "9" wartime? I have seen FJR1 cufftitles changed to FJR3 and it was obvious it was done wartime. But FJR9? The "9" is very crudely sewn. Who would have been allowed to wear a cufftitle in late 1943 or in 1944?
