FJ Russia Italy Normandie St-Lô related grouping

Hello,

I am posting this grouping related to Oberjäger WEBER.

Joined the Luftwaffe and spent some months in Flieger-Tech. schools.
Then spent a period in Russia (WIASMA) and then was sent to DENAIN in France.

Then he joined the Fallschirmjäger and the FJR 1 at MORTAIN. Was trained with heavy mortars. Then at the end of 1942, he moved in Russia and at VELIKIE LUKI get wounded for the first time.

After a short period of time in Lazarett DEBLIN, he went back in France and his unit was located in the South and then sent to Italy.

By CISTERNA, the Kampfgruppe BECKER fought with Fallsch.Pz.Div. Hermann Göring.

The FJR 1 became the FJR 5.

Then he was sent to BRITANNY and after the Invasion the FJR 5 (Major BECKER 's regiment) fougt in Normandie. He was wounded by St.Lô and sent to Lazarett and Stendal.

Nice info on going to many fronts and items Jean-Yves,but what happened after stendal though?.Did he go back to a FJ unit and front or for the rest of the war was wounded,or died from his wounds?,thanks.

After his wound by St-Lô, he was sent in a Lazarett in Wien until
January 1945. Then he spent some times in Ersazt-Batl. STENDAL and then was sent back to the front, in Holland. After a Cerebral Commotion, he was sent in an hospital again in Leuwarden and then was transferred in Germany. He was POW in Tirol.
