hi,

looking for some opinions on this item i am considering purchasing. i am not an expert in this field and it seems mine is the only interest in the badge but many viewings ! i would like opinions on the rivets as one can be seen on the bird at front and there is a solder ' blob ' on other wing. has the bird and wreath always been together ? is this a reasonably priced piece ? any help would be appreciated.

I would call that badge legit.

Nobody can know for sure, if the repairs were done 20, 40 or 60+ years ago (as said before, the badge looks legit).

However, condition and repairs are personal taste of a potential buyer.
