The eagle is post war, IMO. Can you post an overall pic of the liner? A close up of the chinstraps? It is difficult to tell if the shell itself is a Czech Repro from the pic that you included since it is presented from a weird angle. Any way you can post a pic of the helmet from the side?
PS. Oops, just noticed that your post stated that these are the only pics you have. Based on this, I would PASS on this helmet. If the seller wants to send you additional pics, you may consider it. Otherwise, it kind of confirms the suspicion that it is a fake and the seller doesn't want to give you a chance to find out about it until it is too late. Save your money.

Yes, I agree........why bother with it? The chintrap has been messed with...even missing the "T" at the end. The liner looks very odd. Plenty of FJ helmets out there.
I have been looking for a paratrooper helmet for a while. I have been out bid on e-bay several times, thanks god, as the helmet end up in this forum hall of shame. I actually was going to buy in the first helmet in the hall of shame (the white cammo) as the seller e-mail to me that the reserve price he was asking was $1800.00. But the seller made the mistake of mention this web site and I joined the forum. It has save me a lot of money.
I have come to terms that I will not find one in a garage sale for $50.00 so I gave the down payment for one in Bill Shea web site. I e-mail to him and was so nice to give me the chance to buy it before he even posted it on his web site. The best for me is that come with a lifetime warranty. I will post pictures it when I receive it in about 6 months.
Congratulations Juan. You will pay current "top dollar," but are dealing with a very honest and wise man. Looking forward to seeing your new helmet, it will only go up in value!
